Gurpreet is a dynamic young mind that challenges the norms.

Joining Recovery Family Law in July 2024, Gurpreet has been a welcome addition to the team. At Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Gurpreet obtained a bachelor degree in criminology before attending Thompson Rivers University for his juris doctor. While studying at TRU complete served as copresident of the Access to Justice club which advocates for inclusive access to the legal system.

During summers from law school, Gurpreet completed a summer placement with a prominent criminal law firm and gained experience by volunteering at the UBC LSLAP. Gurpreet gained an appreciation for assisting individuals through legal problems and decided he wish to focus on family law. He sees family law as a forum to help cost effectively assist people while they go through a difficult time.

Gurpreet is excited and eager to help clients navigate the family law matters with care and commitment. He is a zealous advocate in court but recognizes the value in compromise and out of court solutions.

Outside of work, Gurpreet enjoys working out, traveling to new destinations and spending time with friends and family.

Gurpreet anticipates completing his qualification and being called to the BC bar in September 2025.
